I grew up in Waller, TX where I attended and graduated from Waller High School.  After high school, I continued my education at Sam Houston State University, where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.  After graduation, I was an elementary school teacher in Cy Fair ISD for 6 years.  My husband Tyler and I have been married for 13 years, and we have 3 incredible boys, Brady, a 5th grader, Blaine, a 2nd  grader, and Bowen a kindergartner, a new Swenke addition.  They keep us extremely busy with their sports lives, but I enjoy every minute of it.  Most of my free time is spent at the baseball field, and if you can't find us there then we are trying to catch a relaxing moment as a family.  I have been one of the hospitality co-coordinators for the past 2 years, and I have loved every minute of spoiling our Swenke teachers and staff.  This will be my second year as Swenke's PTO president, and I am excited to continue this role this next school year.  It has been very rewarding to watch the families of Swenke Elementary come together to create so many lasting memories for our Swenke Students.

VP Volunteers (VIPS) - coordinates the assignment of Chairperson and committee members for the various PTO volunteer opportunities. He/she also coordinates, assists and communicates volunteer needs and programs as requested by the PTO and staff to the PTO membership.

I grew up in the Cypress area where I graduated from Langham Creek High School.  I received a business degree from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) where I also played golf.  After graduation, I became the Human Resource Manager for my family's construction company here in Houston.  My husband Lee and I have been married for 17 years.  We have 3 children - Elle is going into 8th at Salyards, Evelyn is going into 5th and Garrett is going into 3rd.  You will most likely find us on a baseball or softball field, in the Salyards band hall, volunteering with NCL Texas Diamonds, or at our church teaching AWANAS.  I took a 13-year break from working after we started our family, but I am back to working full-time as a consultant for MUD Districts.  I also own a local sign company that delivers storks for new babies.  We moved from a private school to Swenke when Elle was in 5th grade and have loved being a part of such an amazing community and school.  I look forward to serving our Swenke community this school year.
