President's Letter

Hello Swenke Families,

On behalf of the Swenke Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), I would like to take this time to welcome all new and returning families.  Swenke is truly a wonderful place to be and we are so thankful to have each of you here.  For those of you who are new to Swenke or are not quit sure what PTO is, we are a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff who work together to support and enrich the educational experience for all students, enhance communications, and provide financial and volunteer support for the numerous activities and needs of our campus.  The Swenke Elementary PTO works extremely hard to ensure that the school year is one that is both enjoyable and exciting for all students, teachers, and parents.

The Swenke Elementary PTO’s purpose is to aid students and staff by providing support for education and recreational needs, to promote open communication between administration, teachers, and parents, while also encouraging school spirit and pride throughout Swenke Elementary.  Numerous resource, both volunteer based and monetary, are used to support all of these efforts for the staff and students of Swenke Elementary.

We are beyond excited to meet all of the new Swenke families, grandparents, and others that would like to become involved with our PTO this upcoming school year.  Our volunteers at Swenke are truly top notch, and without them things would be pretty much impossible.  If you are looking to volunteer this year, we are always looking for those individuals who are willing to help make a difference in the lives of our children.  Get involved TODAY!  Sign up to share your time, talents, and/or monetary support to help us make this an incredible year for all of our Swenke students, staff, and family members!

I am beyond blessed to be a part of such an amazing team of volunteers and staff.  Swenke Elementary truly cherishes each, and every one of them.  This year is going to be an amazing year, and I believe that together we can provide and create a positive learning experience for all Swenke students.  One that will prepare them for a bright future, but also a school year filled with memories that they will forever treasure.

I look forward to getting to know all of the new families coming to Swenke Elementary, as well as seeing some familiar faces.  I am excited for what this school year brings, while continuing to help Swenke be the best school it can be for all of our students.
