5th Grade Celebration news 

It’s hard to believe that we all have 5th graders! Let’s make sure we help celebrate their last year in elementary school with a bang! This will be your place to find all the information related to our 5th Grade Celebration and what's being planned for your 5th grader! Be sure you are logged into the swenkepto.org website and have updated your “Family Information,” including homeroom teacher and students grade. Failure to update Family Information may prohibit you from seeing certain forms.

December: 

  • Friday 12/15 : Gingerbread House Contest submissions due (all grades)
  • Thursday 12/21: Gingerbread House winners Announced (all grades)

March:

5th Grade Memory BooK

Every year, the graduating 5th grade class is gifted a fun memory book filled with captured moments from their last year at Swenke. The 5th Grade Memory Book Coordinator will be asking you to send pictures and information to ensure your student is covered in this year’s 5th Grade Memory Book.  

Please email pictures to 5thgradememorybook@swenkepto.org with your student’s full name and homeroom teacher in the subject line.

  • Baby and Kinder Pictures. If your student went to Swenke in Kindergarten, we can pull their yearbook photo. But if you'd like to use a different photo, feel free

  • Outside of school sports of clubs - If you have photos with multiple 5th graders in them, those would be great. Dolphins Cheer & Football are covered.

5th Grade Memory Book Shoutouts - On Sale NOW!

Shoutouts are a major part of the 5th Grade Memory Book! Your Shoutout can include words of encouragement or memories about your child up to 65 characters. Click HERE to order a shoutout for your student.  You are welcome to complete the form for other family/friends to use to give your child a Shout Out as well. The money helps offset the cost of the memory book.  

The student’s name WILL NOT count toward the character total. If you have more to say to your 5th grader, it MUST be split into separate 65 character messages at an additional cost of $10.00 per message.
