Go Gold Week

SEPTEMBER 18 - 22, 2022

Swenke Elementary and Swenke PTO both feel strongly about supporting childhood cancer research.  Every year, we show our support by holding a Go Gold Week in September.

Throughout Go Gold Week, donations are collected by Swenke PTO Volunteers for the opportunity to write on the library walls.  Students have the option of writing just their name or they can also include a message.  

On Wednesday during the week, staff and students wear gold or yellow to show support of childhood cancer research.

Donations collected throughout the week are given to the charity, A Shelter for Cancer Families: https://www.cancerfamilies.org/
