Swenke SRC 2025-2026 Training Calendar 

 

 

SRC Coordinator: We are looking for two parent volunteers to be Co-coordinators, and one to take step in as Lead Coordinator. Coordinates and publicizes the SRC Animal Demo Trainings for volunteers. Coordinator will work closely with the administration and all grade level throughout the year.

 

SRC Volunteer: Participate in a 2 hour training at the SRC (11206 Telge Road), then give the presentations to students at Swenke Elementary.

 

We are looking to have at least two coordinators moving forward to split the demos by grade level.
Coordinator for Pk/K, 2nd, 4th and another for 1st,3rd,&5th. (Of course you can always volunteer for other grades as well)
 
The coordinators will need to attend the trainings for their respective grades at the SRC if they have not taken them previously, the trainings are good for 3years without re training. Each training is approx 45min-1hour at the Src located on telge across from Arnold middle school. (Depending on demo the training may take less time)
 
The coordinators will be in contact with SRC lead coordinator and will attend Src demo days for their grade levels, each grade has two demos a year. 
 
The coordinators will be responsible to ensure either a parent volunteer or themselves will pick up and drop off animal kits from/to Src on demo days. 
 
The coordinators will provide instruction during demo or will ensure a parent is trained and is available to do so. 
 
Co-Coordinators and Lead Coordinator will work together to ensure there is a back up coordinator available should the listed Coordinator be ill or unable to attend their scheduled demo day.
